AVI
AVI-Audiovisual Institute of Aruba is an organization founded in 2010 by Aruban Filmmaker Juan Francisco Pardo. AVI aims for a better Aruban audiovisual culture. Last September '10 Ave Maria' AVI first short film was awarded with the jury prize for Best Short Film at the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival 2011. In one year AVI has given successful workshops to young people and professionals.

Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Audiovisual Institute of Aruba is to promote the Aruban Audiovisual Culture in the broadest sense.
The institute seeks to achieve this goal by encouraging and developing individual talents, also through the production and distribution of audiovisual productions.


Partner
In May 2011, AVI has partnered up with SWBE Media Production Company to co-produce our Film and TV Productions. 

SWBE Media, a interdisciplinary art production company founded in 2006 by Aruban artist Ryan Oduber. A combined love for architecture and visual arts in all of its permutations, coupled with business background makes SWBE Media the suit-able production company for AVI projects.
